Domain is first “big” sale at popular Domaining.com web site.
About a month after launching its domain name marketplace, domain news aggregator Domaining.com has sold ItalianRestaurants.com for $17,000.
The site charges a listing fee and commission for all domain name sales, and the rates were recently reduced. Listing fees start at $5 for domains under $250 [...]

Less than one month (and a few dozen sales) after Domaining.com started to list featured domains on their site and newsletter they have announce a major sale.
They have confirmed that ItalianRestaurants.com has been sold for $17,000 - Domaining.com’s first sale of a premium name sale at over $10k. May there be many more to come.

JournalSpace.com was a blogging platform along with the many others available on the web but not any longer thanks to an ex-employee and no backups.
Recently, all the data on the company’s harddisks disappeared and attempts to retrieve the data were in vein as someone had overwritten the disk - according to DriveSavers.
It appears an employee who was looking after JournalSpace’s IT sabotaged the harddrives just before leaving the company - reportedly he was fired for stealing from the firm.
